The Asociación de Empresarios del Camp de Morvedre (ASECAM) celebrated on October 23rd its 20th anniversary, the 17th Business Meeting and the delivery of the Asecam Awards.
The act was held at the Roman Theater in Sagunt. The president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, the president of the Diputació de València, Toni Gaspar, and the mayor of Sagunt, Darío Moreno, among other authorities, as well as associates and businessmen of the Camp de Morvedre attended.
The 17th Business Meeting, featured the conference of Javier Sirvent, professor at the Business School, who talked about the technological revolution; and Teresa viejo, writer, journalist, trainer and creator of the Curiosity Observatory.
The Meeting gave way to the delivery of the Asecam Awards. The winners were: Pastelería La Moderna for his career; Entresistemas in the category of Innovation; Colegio Camarena Canet for the Development of the Territory; Maite Marín, as director of the Complejo Educativo Mas Camarena, the Woman Entrepreneur Award; and finally, INLET was recognized in the category of Business Internationalization. Our director Rafael Campuzano received the award from Aurelio Martínez, president of the APV (Autoridad Portuaria de Valencia).
In our director’s speech, he congratulated ASECAM for its 20th anniversary and thanked the jury “for trusting our candidacy for the prize”. On the other hand, he recognized the pride of “seeing how this project that started in a small office in the city center had been growing since its inception”. He also reviewed the different sales delegations we have, in addition to the purchasing offices and joint venture agreements we have in INLET.
Finally, he emphasized that “the biggest step towards the internationalization of our brand” which was “to become part of the Maruha Nichiro group, a Japanese company leader in frozen seafood products”. He finished the speech by dedicating the prize “to the entire human team that we form INLET”.
